MOVIE REVIEW: FRACTURE(NO spoilers) READ IT!

Ok, I'm bored so I feel like writing a review for the movie FRACTURE starring Ryan Gosling(sp) and Anthony Hopkins. If you haven't seen the trailer for the movie and have no idea what it's about than watch it.

First off I just want to say that once again, the trailer has given away too much of the movie. Studios need to find away to make promos that don't give away so much of the plot and story(like Grindhouse).

I was very eager to see this movie, I had wanted to see it in theaters but never got around to doing so and everytime I went to rent it, all the copies were gone. I love intelligent thrillers like this and Fracture seemed to be one of the best. My overall opinion of the movie after which it is, "it could have been better". The movie drags on for a little too long and there's a little too much talking heads. Characters are introduced for no particular reason, something that really pisses me off and the movie goes through so many twists and turns.

The movie could have been salvaged but honestly the ending just killed me. I'm not going to give it away, all I'm going to say is, "It's not how I would have ended it". Through out the entire movie you fall in love with Anthony Hopkins character and hate Ryan Goslings and then the final twist ruins that.

There's not much else to say about this movie, it's pretty obvious what the plot is and they even include some of the twists and subplots in the trailer.

All in all I would give this movie a "wait for it on DVD rating". "Good for a boring thursday night".
