Veteran TV producers are moving from the small screen to the...smaller screen? The makers of such shows as, "thirty something"(the hell is that?) and "my so called life"(?) are producing a show that will only air on the web. The show, Quarter Life, is centered around college grads, it started as pilot for ABC originally but never made it on the air.
With the show they will create ANOTHER social networking site that focuses on careers and romance and will feature story extras from the show.
I think it's great that this show is going to be featured solely on the net. It's about time established producers make a show that can reach the entire world with just a click of a button. Networks are dumb not to jump on this idea, it makes more sense to me. I bet the show was made for a fraction of the cost, also you don't have to worry about as much censorship, and most of all you reach a wider, more diverse audience. I'll definitely try to check out an episode or two to see if it's any good and of course, I will report back here.
You can watch the teaser HERE , check out the premier on myspace.com starting, Nov 11.
over and out,
