I got a JOB

I'm dead tired from my new job. After school I went to my local gas station to pick up my daily dose of newpapers (ny times & us today), the manager essentially offered me the job right on the spot. He told me to go home, talk to my parents and then head back to work that day! I was shocked, no application, no paperwork, nothing! I went home, changed and drove back to the store. I thought the job was going to be easy as hell, but I soon found out I was wrong. For an hour I moved boxes and restocked the cooler after that I cleaned up and did some more busy work. It wasn't impossible but it definitely put a strain on my back. Either way, I'd take that labor over most jobs around my way.

I'm real excited that I have a steady job, it just means I'll be able to make improvements in my life.
