Nas new album to be called "NIGGER"

Everyones getting their panties in a bunch over Nas' new album title. The rapper has confirmed that the title of his new album will be 'Nigger', note not the less 'offensive' word 'nigga' but nigger.

As a black American I can say I honestly have no problem with this title. Of course the Reverend Al's and Jesse Jackson's of this world are all over the name because they see it as morally wrong. All I can say to them is, "what are you going to do about?". Jesse Jackson said, "The title using the 'N' word is morally offensive and socially distasteful. Nas has the right to degrade and denigrate in the name of free speech, but there is no honor in it,". If he has the right to use the title than why are people attacking him for it?

In the 1st amendment it should say freedom of speech, WITH OUT scrutiny. Why can't we all just realize hip hop is built off hype. There's nothing artistic about using the word 'Nigger' as your album title, it's all about marketing and promotion. We're all getting tired of the same old scheme so it's up to creative minds like Nas to come up with new ideas. Can you really blame Nas for trying to get ahead in our society even if it's at the expense of his very people, isn't that what America's been doing since it's birth?
