Barnes and Noble, Sean Lennon..NOT JOHN and a CD

In recent weeks I've been listening to a lot of Sean Lennon. No, not the music legend John Lennon but his son, Sean. I must admit that when I first heard his music, I laughed and cringed at the same time. He has a..."unique" voice that takes a couple listens to appreciate.

Yesterday I decided to do something that I haven't done in a while, I decided to go out and purchase a CD. S. Lennon produced a CD/DVD called Friendly Fire with a video for each and every song on the album. I saw a trailer for the release and was really turned on by what I saw. I decided to save my time trying to download the film illegally and so the best way to do this was by going out to the store.

At the moment, I truly missed buying CDs. I-tunes is convenient but ever since my I-pod got stolen I've been anti-Apple. The great part about CDs is you always have a back up of the music. I've been struggling to regroup all of my music because I have it stored on two different computers. With a CD you don't have to really worry about that. In all honesty I could have backed up my music but who the hell is gunna do that? Anyway, I open the CD, all jittery and anxious inside. I struggle to break the plastic open and peel off that annoying sticker ontop of the disc.

After all that time, money, effort and excitement, I break the CD case in half...GOD DAMN CDS!

happy thanksgiving everyone...even to those that aren't American, or don't a family to spend it with.
