This will be P.T Anderson's 5th film (magnolia, boogie nights). The film, which stars Daniel Day-lewis, was adapted from the novel 'Oil' by Upton Sinclair. It's described by the studio as a story about family, greed, religion, and oil, centered around a turn-of-the-century Texas prospector in the early days of the business." From what I heard it looks to be a great film and notably different than Anderson's past work. Something cool about this movie is, the music for the film was composed by Radiohead's guitarist Johnny Greenwood.
The film is scheduled for a December 26th limited release.
