Winter Jacket

Last winter I got away with a Coogie hoodie. It was pretty thick and kept me warm for they entire fall/winter. Considering it's October and I'm freezing my balls off, I think it's time for a new jacket. I don't want something too big, but yet it's gotta last me through the season This winter I don't wanna have to dress in layers, I wanna be able to wear a teeshirt and my jacket, no problem(is that being too optimistic.). I guess my question is, is there such thing as a warm, fashionable winter jacket available for under 300 bucks?
