Eastern Promises was a BAD ass movie. Not bad ass as in I didn't enjoy it, but bad ass as you see two naked men fight with blades in a Russian shower room! I don't think it will do well(good) @ the award shows but it was certainly one of this years best films (wont do well because it was too violent). With the new year coming, I expect another great film from Cronenberg in the 08(06=A History of Violence, 07=Eastern Promises, 08=?)!
