I'm sure many people have seen the teaser for the movie, Cloverfield. At first glance, it might just look like one of those over hyped action movies that come out every month and ultimately fail at the box office. However, those of you who pay closer attention might notice something different about the film. Cloverfield isn't your normal big budget action flick, infact it was filmed on a budget of an estimated 30 million dollars. It stars a bunch of no name actors and was shot in high def using a cheaper camera than most productions would op for. Cloverfield was shot to look like a documentary, as if one person was filming the whole thing from the sidelines. Think of it as a 21st century version of the Blairwitch Project.
I almost feel obligated to see this movie only because it's such an innovative piece of work.
