OMG! This writers strike is getting out of control. This is a multi-billion dollar a year industry, give them what they want! First the TV shows going off the air, now a major motion picture award show canceled. That is, the "traditional" award show, the one with the red carpet and all the movie stars. Instead they will broadcast some sort of hour long new conference during which the winners will be announced.
I feel bad for all the nominees, it sucks that they won't get the recognition they deserve.
