Carter III To Be Released in April

Lil' Wayne says Carter III will be released in April

Lil' Wayne recently told MTV News that the often pushed-back "Carter III" will hit store shelves in April, and that his work habits are the cause of the delay.

"I make it worse for Universal [Records]," Wayne said. "I keep doing new songs every other day. I don't stop working, so I don't know when they gonna get that. Everything I do be better than the last, like, 'Oh, this gotta make the album!'"

Weezy also revealed that Jay-Z would be featured on a track on the album. Other guest appearances will be made by Hurricane Chris, Corey Gunz, his own artist Tiger (younger cousin of Gym Class Heroes' Travis McCoy), Lil Mama, Busta Rhymes, Juelz Santana, Fabolous, Baby, Brisco, Dre from Cool & Dre, and Ludacris.

Production will be supplied by Alchemist, Swizz Beatz, Cool & Dre, Kanye West, Jim Johnson, and Wayne's in house producer Diesel.
