California smoking BAN in apartments

First resteraunts, then hotels and now apartments, whats next? I understand that smoking poses health risks to those around them but come on, how much further can we go with smoking bans. Counties in California are moving to ban smoking on patios and balconies within apartment complexes. Smokers will be designated to smoking quarters, as the smokers leave and apartment rooms become available smoking will be banned in the rooms and the complex will eventually move to a smoke free environment.

My question is, where will smokers be free to light up? I'm proposing an idea that may just solve all our smoking problems. Let's build a big dome, it would have to be well ventilated but basically it would be the size of a hanger(Place where they stash airplanes). The space would provide a safe haven for smokers where they could enjoy their cigarettes, cigars, pipes, what ever; best of all it would be far away from all non smokers!

How does that sound,
