Citizen Cope is playing Terminal 5 in NYC on Thursday night. Today I was curious to see how much tickets were going for on Craigslist.org-just incase I wanted to attend the show. I was SHOCKED when I saw that people were trying to sell tickets for as high as $175.00. I'm a big fan of Citizen Cope but 175.00 dollars to see him live? I don't think so! I would pay no more than $50.00. I just checked Ticketmaster.com to see how much the tickets went for originally...30 BUCKS!
Come on people! I'd bet that the people trying to sell these tickets for a buck 75 a pop are probably those annoying owners of sites like ****hub.com and all those other websites that sell hard to get tickets for wayyy over face value(something that is ILLEGAL).
If you're a real fan, and you can't go to a concert, you should let ANOTHER real fan go to the show, not try and make a profit.
ANYWAY, I may or may not go to this show. I'm a G(gangster) so I know I can get a ticket for under 40 bucks but if you want to go to the show, keep checking craigslist.org or just show up to the show a bit early.
