(The guys from MGMT)I took some time to update the list of events (right of your screen). There are now dates through October listed for your convenience. There's pretty much something to do every week including plenty of FREE SHOWS!
A few dates that I put in my calender.
- Cold War Kids @ Prospect Park-6/27 (FREE)...Wanted to see these guys live when I first started listening to them almost two years ago.
- Feist @ Prospect Park-7/9...Can't go wrong in the park!
- Spoon @ Prospect Park-7/15...I've missed several oppurtunities to see this group live, probably my favorite band @ the moment.
- MGMT @ McCarren Pool-7/27...I've become a huge fan of this bands freshman album, can't wait to see them live.
- Rock The Bells(COOL KIDS)-8/9...Cool Kids are so talented. They're on their way to change hip hop as we know it...plus Jones beach and Rock The Bells.
There are so many free shows going on this summer in Brooklyn/Manhattan so I'll definitely try and catch as many of those as I can. It's hard to plan to see all these free shows though because most of them take place outside, so weather is ALWAYS an issue.
We've gotten a lotta rain this summer, I've noticed.
