I took some time to update the list of events (right of your screen). There are now dates through October listed for your convenience. There's pretty much something to do every week including plenty of FREE SHOWS!

A few dates that I put in my calender.

• Cold War Kids @ Prospect Park-6/27 (FREE)...Wanted to see these guys live when I first started listening to them almost two years ago.

• Feist @ Prospect Park-7/9...Can't go wrong in the park!

• Spoon @ Prospect Park-7/15...I've missed several oppurtunities to see this group live, probably my favorite band @ the moment.

• MGMT @ McCarren Pool-7/27...I've become a huge fan of this bands freshman album, can't wait to see them live.

• Rock The Bells(COOL KIDS)-8/9...Cool Kids are so talented. They're on their way to change hip hop as we know it...plus Jones beach and Rock The Bells.

There are so many free shows going on this summer in Brooklyn/Manhattan so I'll definitely try and catch as many of those as I can. It's hard to plan to see all these free shows though because most of them take place outside, so weather is ALWAYS an issue.

We've gotten a lotta rain this summer, I've noticed.

Cat Power and the Dirty Delta Blues TOUR DATES!

Yes, Yes, Yes! Cat Power and her band The Dirty Delta Blues are going on a small promotional tour in February. Tickets go on pre-sale wednesday for and will be available on ticketmaster.com starting Friday or Saturday. Cat Power's new album is scheduled for January 22nd release date!

Good news is shes coming to NYC. The bad news is she's playing terminal 5-it's only been open a couple months but from what I heard, it's a shit venue-especially for an artist like Cat Power. Oh well, a good artist should be able to play live anywhere....right?

Hall and Oates TOUR

Haha I only listen to two songs by this duo(worlds best selling musical duo) but I still have to make a post officially announcing the re-release of their x-mas album and tour. The pair will perform 12 times in cities across the US. I'm happy because they're playing up @ Fox Woods Casino (CT) and also in NY @ the Beacon Theater.
